Megan + Jared’s downtown Seattle wedding was one for the books. All stationary and hand calligraphy (including their beautiful wedding invites) were designed by Megan (You can see her beautiful graphic design work at www.letterformcreative.com). They said “I do” in the heart of Pioneer Square - one of my favorite neighborhoods of Seattle and you could feel the downtown joy and energy throughout the day. It was such a joy to work with their amazing coordinator, Amy Tanton who made the day flow effortlessly! Congrats Megan + Jared!
Matt and Allie. These two know how to take care of people. As stunning as their wedding was, what I kept feeling all day was an overwhelming fulness of “love”. From their vows, to their dance moves, to the way they loved their guests with incredible food and wine, lawn games and a beautiful “thank you” toast….”selfless love” was continually felt in the air. These two are something special and I’m so honored to call them friends! One of my favorite perks of my job is having clients who quickly become lifelong friends. Congratulations, Matt + Allie! I’m so thankful for you!
Well, it’s been a little while since I’ve consistently blogged on my website so I’m really thrilled to finally share some new work with you! I hope you enjoy scrolling through and keep a look out for more goodies soon!
Enjoy! m.

This wedding was one of those that tugs at your heart strings and leaves you a teary eyed mess. It was such a beautiful day….from the way Matti + Clint kept looking at each other, to the incredible florals and decor (thanks to the talented Kaleb Norman James Designs).
Gosh, this wedding was a fun one.
* special thanks to my bestie Alyssa Wilcox for second shooting and my amazing associate, Michele Equitz for assisting!
Marissa: We’ve known each other since preschool, have editing parties while watching Friends, drink whiskey on the rocks and second shoot for each other whenever possible.
These two. They dreamed of doing an engagement session capturing some of their favorite everyday activities together - laundromat visits, grocery shopping, happy hour and independent movie going. We turned it into an adventure - started the day exploring Seattle’s finest & ended the day being interviewed by KOMO News about their love for the now closed Harvard Exit theatre.
